Little Green Bear Road Safety Club

Road Safety club for 3-5 year olds encouraging parent/child interaction when learning about road safety.

This project comprised many elements, from the main folder with monthly inserts covering road safety, to the front end marketing including table-top displays, banners, postcards and posters.

In addition there were balloons, slappits, crayons, reward posters, stickers
and t-shirts.

A carefully devised campaign encouraging young riders and walkers to be road safety aware with the emphasis on cyclists.

From magazine to leisure centre and bus advertising appealing to a young audience but without excluding the older generation.

The Cyclewise incentives were a great success with both the cycle training officers and the children.

Take Control Motorcycle Training

How do you encourage safer riding habits in Motorcyclist? With difficulty!

Take Control landed directly in the hands of the target audience, did not point the finger or preach, but encouraged them to take advantage of subsidised Take Control training days set up by the Warwickshire Road Safety unit.

After a successful launch in 2008, Take Control is now being rolled out in West Mercia as well as Warwickshire with approval and additional funding from the DfT.
